Nature on Track
We are looking forward to taking part in the North Pennines NatureFest 2024 on June 1st, when we will be running some family friendly activities with a nature theme.
Join our volunteers for a spot of bug hunting and find out about the minibeasts who make their homes near our tracks.
Follow a bird trail to learn about the wonderful birds you can spot in the North Pennines.
Use our badge machine to create a nature themed badge to take home with you.
There’s no need to book for these activities but if you are planning on a train ride too, ( and why wouldn’t you!), please book your tickets through our booking calendar
The activities are free but a donation would be most welcome.
