Hickins’@ The Crossing Café
Kim and Dug Hickin run the Crossing Café along with a small team of dedicated staff and offer traditional homemade hot and cold food all made to order and a range of homemade cakes. There is also a range of hot and cold beverages and the premises is licensed should you want a tipple with your lunch.
If you intend to dine in the Café prior to your train ride, you will need to be at the front of the queue and ordering your food at least 45 minutes prior to your departure time. For parties of four or more please allow an hour. All food (including sandwiches) is made fresh to order.
The café is dog friendly with a large car free park suitable for all vehicles, including a cycle rack to secure your bike.
The Café is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10a.m- 3.30p.m.

The Little Buffet Car @ Slaggyford
Regular visitors will recognise Kate and Adie, Kate for her sterling work in the Crossing Café in previous seasons and Adie in his alter ego of Chief Elf and buffet car staff member.
Now running The Little Buffet Car themselves, Kate and Adie will be serving a range of hot and cold drinks, snacks, traybakes and ice cream.
The Little Buffet Car will be open from 10.30 on days when trains are running.
