If you are travelling from Teesdale on the B6277 or the A689 from Weardale there may be a diversion in place when you visit. From Teesdale, traffic will be diverted to the right along the A689 to Nenthall where they will be diverted left along the B6294 and then left into Alston. Traffic from Weardale will be diverted right at Nenthall along the B6294 and then left into Alston. The diversion will add approximately 10 minutes on to your journey.

Slaggyford station is situated just off the A689 Alston-Brampton road. Sat Nav postcode CA8 7NH. There is a large car park and free parking, please note the access to this car park is narrow and not suitable for large coaches.
