We run trains at weekends and on Bank Holidays from April to the end of October and our ever popular Santa Specials run in December.

Ticket Types

For return journeys from Alston to Slaggyford please purchase Rover tickets. These tickets allow you to travel all day if you wish. Rover tickets can be purchased online in advance.

For single journeys or journeys starting in Slaggyford, please visit the ticket office at Alston or the Little Buffet Car at Slaggyford on the day of travel to purchase.
