The Crossing Café is situated on platform 1 at Alston station and is open 10:30 to 15:00 on running days only. The café serves prepacked sandwiches, cakes and sausage rolls, together with a range of crisps, chocolate and hot and cold drinks.
The Little Buffet Car at Slaggyford
The Little Buffet Car, situated at the end of the platform at Slaggyford station, serves prepacked cakes, crisps, chocolate, and hot and cold drinks. It is open 10:00 – 16:00 when trains are running.
The Little Buffet car is also open on Wednesdays 10:00 – 16:00.
The Ice Cream Parlour at Slaggyford
The ice cream parlour, serving 6 flavours of ice cream including a dairy/allergen free option, is also to be found on Slaggyford station. The Parlour is open 10:00 -16:00 when trains are running and also on Wednesdays, 10:00 – 16:00.
