It’s 50 years since the last train left Haltwhistle for Alston and we are commemorating today with reduced ticket prices!

Visit the mezzanine viewing gallery and learn about the history of our line; there will be lots of volunteers to chat with too.

Our cafés and ice cream parlour will be open and as we are wheelchair accessible and dog friendly, it’s a great family day out where no one gets left behind!
